About Jaclyn
Jaclyn Bruntfield is originally from the black dirt region of Orange County, NY. She graduated summa cum laude in 2006 from SUNY Albany with a BA in English and World History. She is now pursuing a graduate degree in English. Her Master's thesis focuses on local food production and representations of the agricultural home in the Hudson Valley.
From 2009 - 2011, Jaclyn maintained weekly Green Living and Green Parenting columns for Patch. She also served as a guest editor and covered education, environmental and general interest news.

There seems to be a four-hour difference in time between the time events are actually scheduled and the time posted in the Patch calendars--is that fixable? A program at the Briarcliff library, scheduled for 1:30pm, for example, shows up in the calendar listing at 8am (and I don't think the library is even open then!)
