Sustainable Playland Gala Hosts Dan Biederman

Sustainable Playland's annual fundraiser is tonight at the Coveleigh Club.

The Sustainable Playland proposal used New York City green-spaces Bryant Park and Central Park as inspiration for their vision of a public domain park with "historic and environmental integrity." The SPI proposal touts a Great Lawn concept bridging the functionality between and Playland with more shoreline access and open fields, a reduced amusement zone sharing space with the Westchester Children's Museum, even a sculpture garden.

SPI consultant Dan Beiderman– founder of the Bryant Park Group– will speak at the fundraiser which also offers the usual fun fare- cocktails and a buffet spread starting at 7 p.m. Guests may purchase tickets at the door for $150 to benefit Sustainable Playland.
