Rye High School sent student athletes to the state championships in cross country and girls' swimming over the weekend. While no one came home with the crown several athletes did very well.

Highlights: Senior Cornnia Darelius finished in eighth in diving. Melissa Felenwider came in seventh in 100 Freestyle and forth in 100 Backstroke.

A cheerleading tournament will be held today and tomorrow at the Westchester County Center. Both the Garnets and Trojans are expected to compete.
