Rye won in Harrison’s for the second time in four days as the Garnet field hockey team beat the Huskies with ease. The Garnets fell in volleyball and the swim team lost to Horace Greeley. The Trojans split on the pitch as the boys lost close and girls won easily.

Sport: Field Hockey

Game: Rye @ Harrison

Score:  Rye Won 4-0

Highlights: The Garnets got 2 goals from Emma Brinkman and 3 assists from Annie Van Wagenen at Harrison Tuesday afternoon. Lacey Collins led the Rye defense with 4 saves. Ali Menniti picked up 13 saves for the Huskies in the loss.

Score: Ali Sims Won 6-4, 6-2 (1st Round)

Score: Casey Berger Won 6-0, 6-1 (1st Round)

Game: Horace Greeley @ Rye

Score:  Rye Lost 101–80

Highlights: Rye fell to Horace Greeley in the pool Tuesday afternoon but several Garnets had good times in the meet. Melissa Fulenwider had first place finishes in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Breaststroke.

Sport: Volleyball

Game: Rye @ Harrison

Score:  Harrison Won 3-0

Highlights: Harrison made quick work of the Garnets in straight sets 25-13, 25-11, and 25-9. Jessica Segal led the way for Harrison with 13 assists and 4 kills, senior Lily Stokoe added 8 kills in the victory. Rye’s Marisa Curlen had 7 assists in the loss. Harrison and Rye took part in breast cancer awareness month as the Huskies and Garnets faced off in a “Pink Game”.

Game: Blind Brook @ Briarcliff

Score:  Blind Brook Lost 3-2

Highlights: The Trojans fell on the road as Briarcliff came out on top 3-2. Ben Seguljic had 7 saves for Blind Brook as Lucas McBride and Andrew Silver scored the Trojan goals.

Sport: Girl’s Soccer

Game: Blind Brook @ Port Chester

Score:  Blind Brook Won 5-1

Highlights: Blind Brook came into Port Chester and decimated the Rams by a score of 5-1. The teams will face off again later in the week.
