'The Secret of Parenting; What Works and What Doesn’t'

The next heard in Rye lecture will be on Thursday, October 4, 2012, 7:30 p.m.

“The Secret of Parenting; What Works and What Doesn’t” will be explored by Anthony Wolf, Ph.D., as the first Heard in Rye Speaker Series lecture of the 2012-13 school year. This presentation will take place on Thursday, October 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the Rye Middle School Multipurpose Room, 3 Parsons Street in Rye. Admission is free. Everyone is welcome.

Dr. Anthony Wolf is a practicing child psychologist and well known speaker on the topics of kids and parenting. He has authored five books on child-rearing, including, I’d Listen to My Parents if They’d Just Shut Up, and best-seller Get Out of My Life but First Could You Drive Me and Cheryl to the Mall, A Parents’ Guide to the New Teenager. Dr. Wolf also writes a column on parenting teens for the Toronto Globe and Mail, and has written columns for Child Magazine in addition to blogging for major media outlets such as the Huffington Post and Fox News. He has made many news and television appearances as an expert on parenting as well.
