Shannon Gold Resigned From Rye City School District
Rye School District Reaches an Agreement with re-assigned teacher Shannon Gold.
On Friday, January 17, 2014, the Rye City School District made a settlement agreement and general release with Shannon Gold.
Ms. Gold waived her rights under the Education Law and Regulations of the Commissioner of Education concerning her separation from employment with the District as a Tenured Teacher.

Ms. Gold tendered her resignation from her tenured position as an Elementary School Teacher for the Rye City School District, effective the close of business on January 31, 2014. The school district will provide Ms. Gold with health insurance until April 30, 2014.
