Rye Ice Hockey Advances to Section Finals
Garnets face off against John Jay at Brewster Ice Arena on Sunday.
The Rye High School boys varsity ice hockey team defeated Horace Greeley 4-1 in the Section I Division 2 semifinals Friday night, earning a spot in Sunday's finals.
Rye (2) will take on John Jay (1) at the Brewster Ice Arena on Sunday. The Rye booster club is sponsoring a free fan bus that will depart from the high school at noon for the 1 p.m. game.
