The Rye High School boys varsity ice hockey team defeated Horace Greeley 4-1 in the Section I Division 2 semifinals Friday night, earning a spot in Sunday's finals.
Rye (2) will take on John Jay (1) at the Brewster Ice Arena on Sunday. The Rye booster club is sponsoring a free fan bus that will depart from the high school at noon for the 1 p.m. game. John Jay defeated Pelham (4) on Friday night to advance.
Rye defeated Hen Hud (No. 7) 9-0 during a Wednesday night game at Hommocks Park Ice Rink on its way to the finals.
