A Board of Education meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 7, at 8 pm in the RMS Multipurpose Room (3 Parsons Street). At this meeting, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Alvarez will present Rye Recognition of Excellence Awards to two Middle School students. Also at this meeting, a public hearing on the proposed 2013-14 School Budget will be held. The agenda additionally includes presentations on three academic programs: the High School Mandarin elective; the High School Project Lead the Way -- Pathway to Engineering program; and the elementary level Science 21 Curriculum Maps. All are welcome to attend this meeting.
