Learn How Birds Prepare for Fall Migration

The Committee to Save the Bird Homestead will present a free outdoor program, Learn How Birds Prepare for Fall Migration, led by naturalist Alison Beall.  At this time of year, many birds consume fall fruits and berries to fuel themselves to fly south to their winter destinations. The group will observe bird activity from a few different stationary positions. You will also learn pointers for identifying the birds in your own backyard.

The program starts at the Meeting House, 624 Milton Road, at 3 pm and will last about one hour. Bring binoculars, if you have them. For further information contact preservehistory@earthlink.net or 914-967-0383.
