Incumbent board member Karen Belanger, and Blake Jines-Storey, were elected to the Rye Board of Education Tuesday, according to officials.
Candidate Jason L. Mehler, the third candidate in the race, lost his bid for one of the two seats by a wide margin.
Additionally by a better than 2-to-1 margin, Rye residents approved the proposed school spending plan for next year of $79.3 million.
