Rye Halloween Rescheduled for Sunday, Nov. 11

The City of Rye announced the new date Saturday morning.

Halloween will be celebrated in the City of Rye on Sunday, November 11th.

Rye's trick or treating was postponed due to the many downed wires, powerless homes, fallen trees and dangerous conditions in Rye two days after Superstorm Sandy struck on Oct. 29.

You can find candy on sale in many convenience and grocery stores.

We had 12 kids come to our door on Halloween night. I don't think everyone was aware that it was cancelled on October 31st.

Yeah. I feel so sorry for the kids to miss a halloween But to have our stupid mayor "reschedule it" is just silly.
