Rye Brook Conprensive Planning Study Available Online

Joint effort between village and Westchester County compiles planning information.

The comprehensive plan that's being designed for Rye Brook to map out its future is now available online.

The plan is online through a Westchester County online planning tool and web site. The web program, created by the Westchester County Planning Department in collaboration with the village, will help determine Rye Brook’s public policies for land use, transportation, infrastructure, recreation.

The project can be viewed on the Westchester County web site at www.westchestergov.com/2025 and on the
village web site at http://www.ryebrook.org/cit-e-access/webpage.cfm?TID=31&TPID=12927.

“This is just one example of how the county shares its services and the expertise of its staff to assist our municipalities,” said County Executive Robert P. Astorino. “By doing this, we help reduce the cost of government and give a really help our local communities.”

Rye Brook Mayor  praised the collaborative effort.

“The village and county collaboration provides a base studies template that can be adapted for other municipalities and can offer officials the tools they need for updating their own plans," Feinstein said.
