Westchester County Issues Fact Sheet on Coyotes
The county has sent out a mass email warning residents to take the proper precautions against coyotes.
The Westchester County Department of Health has just sent a mass email urging residents to take precautions against coyotes, providing a list of best practices for how to react if you encounter these animals.
Its website also lists information on the coyote population in New York , as well as information about coyote conflicts from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
The City of Rye has also released a coyote fact sheet on its website.
