Three Leaf Blower Violations Reported This Week
The City of Rye police responded to calls reporting leaf blower use violations.
Multiple leaf blowers in use simultaneously were reported:
- In the area of Woodland Drive around 1:52 p.m. on Oct. 22. Police report that only one leaf blower was in use at the time they arrived.
- On Guelisten Place at 8:29 a.m. on Oct. 23. The police spoke to the owner of the landscaping business working there who said he is aware of the leaf blower violations and that the neighbor calls on him when he is not violating them. Police saw no city code violations during their visit.
- On Grace Church Street at 9:13 a.m. on Oct. 23. No violations were observed.
