Rye Police Search for Playland Car Thief
The Rye police assisted county police in a search for someone who had broken into a vehicle in the bus area of Playland Park on Aug. 17 at 1:40 a.m. The Harrison K9 unit also helped out but police were unable to find a suspect.

Officer Franco Compagnone found planters flipped over on Purdy Avenue and the bus bench on Purchase Street and Theodore Fremd Avenue flipped over on Aug. 19 at 1:35 a.m. Compagnone returned the property to the proper positions.
