Police Called to Make Unruly Cab Customer Pay Fare

A Rye cab company called police when one of his cab driver’s customers would not pay the full fare on March 24 at 7:55 p.m. Police arrived and the customer paid the amount requested.

A Purchase Street resident reported hearing a gun shot on March 25 at 2:48 a.m. Police checked the area.

A man was reported to police for pushing a girl in front of Wish on Purdy Avenue an First Street on March 25 at 7:17 p.m. Police list the report as unfounded.

Rye Resident in White Trench Coat Reported

A man walking around Lynden Street wearing a white trench coat was reported as “suspicious” to police on March 25 at 8:25 p.m. Police report the man is a resident of Brown Avenue.
