Blotter: Larceny Cluster; Rye Police Assist Keith After Saturday Incident

Rye police reports indicate Councilwoman Suzanna Keith requested medical assistance last Saturday evening.

Vehicle Larcenies

Rye Police Commissioner William Connors said there is no reason to believe several recent vehicle larcenies are connected. There are no suspects at this time, but arrests for similar crimes have been made in the past in Rye and nearby Larchmont.

Seven incidents occurred over a two day period at the following locations:

  • Tuesday, April 25- 12 Breevort Lane; 82 Rye Road
  • Wednesday, April 26- 41 Wainwright St; 12 Fenton St; 49 Beck Ave; 2 Ivy St; 22 Sand St

According to Rye Police Department, Councilwoman Suzanna Keith was involved in a medical incident on Saturday, May 5.

Preliminary police reports said a witness found Ms. Keith, 4 Cope Circle, asking for Rye Police and escorted her to police headquarters at 21 McCullough Place around 11 p.m. Keith was taken to Greenwich Hospital by Rye Police for medical treatment. Keith could not be reached for comment by post time.
