On Sept. 30 at 1:01 p.m. police received report of an injured deer by the snow dump at Presbytarian Church on Boston Post Road and Parsons Street. When police arrived ten minutes later the deer was deceased. The dispatcher left a note for the DPW to puck up and dispose of the deer.
On Oct. 2 at 10:29 p.m. police received a report of two deer in the roadway, one injured. Police officer Rosace responded.
On Sept. 30 at 6:20 a.m. an injured deer was reported at the Presbyterian Church on Boston Post Road and Parsons Street in Rye. Police gave no indication if this injured deer was the one that later died.
