Coyote Sightings Reported in Rye
Police received two calls reporting coyotes in the last few days.
Two Rye residents called the police to report coyotes in the city since last Thursday, according to police reports.
A coyote was seen wandering around Charlotte Street at 1:28 p.m. on Sept. 13. Another coyote was sighted near 5 Manursing Way on Sept. 15 at 10 p.m., according to police.
Police responded to both calls, but no action was needed.
