Coastal Flood Warning Effective 6 a.m. Monday

The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Warning effective 6:00 A.M. Monday, October 29th through 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 30th. A storm surge of as much as 4 to 8 feet has the potential to cause major coastal floodingon the coastlines of Long Island Sound. Residents in flood prone coastal areas are urged to consider making alternate lodging arrangements during the storm. 

Now is the time to plan. Forecasts indicate that this is a potentially dangerous storm. During periods of gale force or higher winds and flooding conditions, rescuers will not be able to reach you. Please take precautions while there is an opportunity.
