Altercation at Playland; Vehicle Damage; Noisy Kids

 Unauthorized Entry Reported

On Oct. 3 at 11:32 p.m. a resident reported that she believed someone entered her house while she was out. Police checked inside and outside the house on Wappanocca Ave. and all appeared secure. They closed the matter with no report.

On Oct. 4 at 10:22 a.m. person with a criminal warrant out for an arrest turned themselves in to police headquarters.

Aggravated Harassment

On Oct. 3 at 10:17 a.m. a resident complained of aggravated harassment by mail. Police took a report.

Vehicle Vandalized

On Oct. 4 at 6:07 p.m. a caller reported her vehicle was damaged on Central Ave. Police made a report.

Vehicle Damaged

On Oct. 6 at 8:44 a.m. a motorist reported that he hit plates in the road and tore out the front of his vehicle on Purchase and Cedar Streets. Police took a report of the incident.

Broken Leg on Golf Range

On Oct. 5 at 12:22 p.m. a man broke his leg on the Club Apawamis’ golf range. Police took a report at the scene. 

Noisy Kids

On Oct. 6 at 10:07 p.m. police received a complaint that kids were screaming on the roadway on Rye Road. The kids were waiting for a taxi and police warned them to quiet down.

Boyfriend Unresponsive

On Oct. 7 at 9:07 a.m. a woman reported that her boyfriend was unresponsive but conscious on Dearborn Ave. Police arrived about ten minutes later and called EMS.

Rye Police Called for Backup at Playland Ice Casino

On Oct. 7 at 10:45 p.m. County police requested assistance for a possible altercation at Playland Ice Casino. Rye City sent two cars and county police were already on scene.
