Cornell Professor Shares Wisdom of Older Americans from the "Legacy Project"

Dr. Karl Pillemer will share 30 Lessons for Living: Tried and True Advice from the Wisest Americans.

Karl Pillemer is Professor of Gerontology in Medicine and the Hazel E. Reed Human Ecology Professor at Cornell-Ithaca. According to the Legacy Project website, he created the project to capture the practical wisdom of the oldest generation and seek their advice for living better, happier lives.

The major themes, or "life lessons", which emerged from Dr. Pillemer's research are on love and marriage; child rearing; work and career; aging well; avoiding regrets; dealing with loss; and prescriptions for happiness.

This program is free and open to the public.

RSVP is required: 1-800-815-8534 or RSVP@theosborn.org
