1. Rye City Council Meeting

The Rye City Council will meet on Wednesday at 8 p.m. in City Hall. The Rye Golf Club is on the agenda, along with several other items.

3. Clouds and Rain

From the National Weather Service:

Monday: Increasing clouds, with a high near 60. North wind 5 to 8 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon.

Monday Night:Rain likely after 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 45. Calm wind becoming east around 6 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible. 

4. Columbus Day           

Today is the celebration of when Christopher Columbus arrived in the Americas on Oct. 12, 1492. Public schools and government buildings, including the post office, are closed.
