Sing Your Heart Out

Workshop offers seniors something to sing about.

For each of the past seven Saturday mornings, about two-dozen adults age 55 and older have gathered in the Ossie Davis Theatre at the New Rochelle Library to share a common bond--their love of singing.

The "Sing Your Heart Out" workshop is led by artist-in-residence Eric Jennings of New Rochelle and funded through a grant from The Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library.

The participants have been learning not just songs, but how to sing them for a performance, which is scheduled for June 2, 1:30 p.m.
