The Graduate REALTOR ® Institute award is awarded by the National Association of Realtors to those professionals who complete a higher level of industry education

NEW YORK, NY, November 11, 2013 – Houlihan Lawrence announces today that Ondrea Schiciano, a Licensed Salesperson in their Bedford brokerage, has been awarded the GRI designation by the New York State REALTOR® Institute. Ms. Schiciano received this honor after successfully completing 90 hours of residential real estate education meeting the rigorous standards established by the National Association of REALTORS®.

Being awarded this designation signifies that Ms. Schiciano has made the commitment to provide the highest level of service to her clients by continuing her professional education and constantly looking for ways to enhance her knowledge of the industry and market.

The REALTOR® Institute of New York, which is conducted by the New York State Association of REALTORS®, was developed to satisfy the need for a more comprehensive and effective learning experience in various phases of real estate. By taking courses offered by the Institute, a REALTOR® or REALTOR® Association can become a more competent professional, render broader and more effective service and elevate the standards of the real estate industry.

The GRI (Graduate REALTOR® Institute), is conferred upon REALTORS® and REALTOR® Associates successfully completing all the requirements of the Institute program.
