Tarry Market Offers December Classes

A message from chef Maria Reina of Tarry Market in Port Chester.

As 2012 comes to a close, Tarry Market has several great cooking classes left for the month of December. Attached is the flyer with additional information and pricing. To register simply call 914-253-5680.
In the meantime check out these descriptions to tantalize your taste buds! Remember, all adult classes include a lovely paired wine from the Tarry Wine Shop.

Please also note on the flyer that Tarry Market has added a new class offering on Saturdays from 10:30-Noon with Adriana De Luca an Italian language instructor. Her classes focus on regional history and travel. Along with her cooking demo during the class you will also learn basic conversational Italian!

Wednesday December 12 - Fish - Sicilian Fest of the 7 Fishes (this class is almost sold out!)

Christmas Eve is a time for celebrating and in traditional Italian homes it’s a meal devoted to fish. No one family does the same bringing diversity to the dishes and fishes! In this class we will explore this age-old tradition and create four different dishes for you fish feast. 

Wednesday December 19 - Holiday Party Appetizers

You’ve just been invited to a holiday dinner where everyone is bringing something. What to do? No worries, Chef Maria will teach you four show-stopping dishes that will make you the talk of the party. You will take classic ingredients and create something new and exciting. 

For Kids on Friday December 28 – Ravioli and Gnocchi

Ravioli and gnocchi are the most requested dishes from kids. In this class we will make at least two different fillings to create our handmade raviolis. In addition to that kids will learn how to make gnocchi and create two sauces to use with all.
