Rye Ridge Shopping Center Still Closed After Last Week's Fire

The yellow caution tape and large clean-up crews that have been at Rye Ridge shopping center since last week's electrical fire  were still there Wednesday afternoon. Shoppers are still heading to front doors only to see the sign that they are still closed pending a building inspection.

Rye Brook Village Manager Chris Bradbury said the shopping center management is working to bring in generators but he did not know when the stores might reopen.

The entire Starbucks side of the shopping center and the lower level of that side are still closed. The D'Agostino's side is open. We will update you as soon as we learn the stores are reopened.
