Rye Brook Couple Ready For Opening Of Their New Restaurant

Scott and Heather Fratangelo of Rye Brook are opening their restaurant named L’inizio (which is Italian for beginning) on Friday, January 24, 2014 in Ardsley, NY. This restaurant is a new beginning for Scott and Heather (opening their first restaurant in Westchester County, they previously have owned restaurants in Manhattan).

 

L’inizio will be serving Italian inspired seasonal food. Chef Scott’s menu will be putting a twist on Italian cuisine by reinventing traditional favorites.  L’inizio will exclusively serve Frosted Spoon Desserts on its pastry menu, which is owned by Heather. Frosted Spoon is a specialty dessert company serving Westchester County with inventive and creative desserts designed from Chef Heather.

 

One of Chef Scott’s favorite dishes is Ricotta Cavatelli with Fennel Sausage Bolognese.  He and his daughters often make cavatelli and that is why it’s a special dish for him because it reminds him of family. He has a deep affection for sausage and loves taking a twist on the traditional Beef Bolognese by using house made pork sausage.

 

L’inizio will be open from Tuesday through Sunday for dinner, for lunch on Tuesday through Friday and brunch on Sunday.  L’inizio is on Open Table.com and guests can start making reservations now.
