New American Made Home & Garden Store at Rye Ridge
Erin Hinchey, the leasing agent for the Rye Ridge Shopping Center, opened the store this year.
Domestic Dry Goods, an all American made home, garden and gift boutique is now open at the Rye Ridge Shopping Center.
The center’s leasing agent, Erin Hinchey, wanted to give people a place to buy affordable, American-made items and felt Rye Ridge was the perfect fit.
“I had been looking for the “right” home & gift store for some time,” Hinchey said. “I had such a precise idea of what I wanted – I decided to do it myself. Then I decided to take it a step further and only feature products that are made in America by American companies, as I believe, and research has shown, that most people would rather support American companies, they just don’t know how to do so.”

The shop has the most exquisite merchandise for Home; Garden & Gifts from all over the USA, handpicked by Ms. Hinchey but the majority come from Brooklyn and have a distinct Brooklyn edge. There is something for everyone and at every price range with the majority of merchandise under $100. None of the merchandise in the store is currently being sold in Westchester County. In addition the store sells custom designed exclusive merchandise that will be limited editions and never sold anywhere else. The store also has fresh flower bouquets starting at $20 and numerous unique plants and terrarium displays. All plants and flowers are bought directly from the New York City wholesalers ensuring the most unique and freshest in the area.
