How Peter Shapiro Got a 20-year Lease on The Cap

Inc.com interviews The Capitol Theatre's owner Peter Shapiro on how he managed to lease the building to create his rock palace.

Peter Shapiro negotiated for two years with the owner of The Capitol Theatre Marvin Ravikoff to win a 20-year lease that would allow him to create his rock palace in Port Chester. Ravikoff wanted to keep the space private and safe but Shapiro convinced him the "time is right" to bring music back and that he was the guy to do it.
