Sculpting with Plaster with Nicole Zahour

Ages 12 & up        

Participants in this workshop will start by making plaster blocks, giving time for them to harden so that they can be carved into a sculpture using a variety of tools.  Many of the pieces in the exhibit, Beyond Rodin, employ this technique.  Students will have a chance to visit the exhibition, and use it as a source of inspiration for their piece.

The artistic works in the Gallery feature contemporary interpretations of the human form including nudes. Please consider previewing the exhibit prior to workshop registration.
