Emergency Water Shutdown Affects Hundreds of Rye Residents

The water company expects to restore service this evening.

United Water of Westchester performed an emergency shutdown of service to replace a valve at the intersection of Osborne Avenue and Boston Post Road this afternoon.

The shutdown left about 350 customers without water in the area from Osborne Avenue, down to BPR to Kean Court.

Those customers have either no or low water pressure or discolored water.
