Two-out-of-three voters (67%) say the economy is unfair to the middle class, up seven points from the previous survey and also a new high. This includes six percent (6%) who think the current economy is Very Fair to middle-class Americans and 26% who don’t think it’s fair at all.

33% of Likely U.S. Voters think America’s best days are still to come, up only slightly from 31% in October 2013, the lowest level of optimism in two-and-a-half years. Forty-eight percent (48%) think the nation’s best days are in the past, although that's down from last October's recent high of 52%. Nineteen percent (19%) are not sure.

Voters List Economy, Health Care, Spending As Top Issues

Monday, June 16, 2014

Survey of Likely Voters Rating Issues as Very Important: 72% - The Economy, 67% - Health Care, 63% - Gov. Spending, 62% - Job Creation, 61% - Social Security

And unsurprisingly - 71% Think IRS Likely to Have Destroyed E-mails to Hide Guilt

Monday, June 30, 2014

71% of voters think it is likely that the e-mails were deliberately destroyed to hide evidence of criminal activity with 53% who consider it Very Likely. Just 18% say it’s not very or Not At All Likely that the e-mails were destroyed to hide criminal activity. Eleven percent (11%) are not sure.

(But I’ll predict that we will not get through the upcoming holiday weekend without a surprise from the IRS about these emails – some will be found – others will not be.)

So stay tuned to your favorite news outlet and have a very Safe and Happy 4th of July!
