RCSD Honors Tenure Recipient

The Rye City School District Board of Education granted tenure to Osborn School kindergarten teacher Deanna DelBorgo at the meeting held on November 12. Prior to the meeting, a reception was held in honor of Ms. DelBorgo, who was supported by many colleagues and family members in attendance.

Ms. DelBorgo was hired as a leave replacement at Osborn in 2010. She has also taught summer school and coached girls volleyball for grades 7 and 8. Ms. DelBorgo holds a Master of Science Degree and a Bachelor of Arts Degree, both from Iona College.

During the meeting, Board of Education President Mrs. Slack stated, “Tenure is an honor that represents our teachers’ hard work, and we are so happy to recognize Deanna as one of our many dedicated staff members.”
