BONUS BABIES: MAYOR PROPOSES $10,000+ BONUS FOR CITY MANAGER PICKUP FOR YEARS 2012 AND 2013

Doug French has a long 'to do' list for tonight's council meeting–which is the last meeting of the year and the last meeting his of his rocky tenure as mayor. The mayor's list is so long, actually, that it looks like he intends 'to do' some things that should be done by Mayor-elect Joe Sack and the newly elected city council–like attempting to appoint four new members to the BAR when those seats will not be vacant until January 1, 2014.

However, the most audacious and ambitious agenda item is perhaps item #20, in which Mayor French proposes the council vote thumbs up on a 3% annual bonus for scandal-plagued City Manager Scott Pickup for years 2012 and 2013.
