Do we have an idiot as our Police Commissioner?

First off thank God this child wasn't killed and was apparently not seriously injured.

Having said that this guy Falk shut down the Boston Post Road for five hours because a child had their ankle broken???

Really? Rye's main thoroughfare, a state roadway, was closed for five hours? Is this Falk's idea of a joke?

Falk called in the County Police because a child broke their ankle?

Does Falk have no confidence in the Rye Cops or was the City of Rye worried that this known dangerous intersection in front of Osborn School has, as predicted by many, caused a child to be struck by a car?

This sounds a lot like when Connors struck a child on Boston Post Road while on his cell phone. Since the Rye cops knew this and that he was responding to a call, he called in the County Police after he fled the scene. Not surprisingly, there was no mention in the County Police report of Connors being on his cell phone or that he was responding to a call when he struck the child.

Falk seems to be in way over his head. I guess we shouldn't expect much from someone who proudly tells people he didn't graduate from High School.
