Westchester Country Club

On the evening of May 10th, the Westchester Country Club will welcome <a href="https://www.potsbronx.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" data-auth="NotApplicable" id="OWAfd319ce0-acee-2ab2-282b-ccb2d1339118" data-loopstyle="linkonly" data-linkindex="0">Part of the Solution (POTS)</a> and a community of caring neighbors to celebrate four decades of action in support of the most vulnerable New Yorkers.
This year, the organization will also reflect on its recent expansion and renovation that will benefit the more than 34,000 clients served each year, as well as the plans to escalate its success model to help even more families escape poverty.
This year’s event will also honor the Sisters of Charity of New York, who have served the community since 1817. Now in their third century of living lives of love, they continue to carry out their mission through POTS and their other sponsored ministries.
POTS’ Executive Director, Christina Hanson, reflects “Thanks to the Sisters of Charity and our incredible donor community we have been able to meet the needs of the times, even during difficult times. We are committed to our message of hope to double our efforts and take decisive steps to eradicate poverty one household at a time.”
POTS plans to follow a new fun and social format, with live music by The Ray Greiche Band, culinary stations, and drinks. The event will be hosted by Kevin Thompson, who has over 15 years of experience in the entertainment and event industry.

Greenwich Police Department Scholarship Fund 2024 Benefit Car Show registration is now open. The event will occur from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on June 8, 2024, at Town Hall, 101 Field Point Rd., Greenwich, CT. (Rain date: June 9, 2024) Classic, antique, custom, and exotic cars, motorcycles, and vintage fire trucks will be on display for free.
The Greenwich Police Department Scholarship Fund invites car owners to sign up for early-bird pre-registration by May 31. As space is limited, vehicles will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is $20 per vehicle. To register for the show, go to:

Sponsorship opportunities start at just $50, including $125 as a Trophy Sponsor and $250 to participate as an on-site sponsor. Children of Greenwich Police officers who qualify by ability and character for undergraduate studies are eligible to receive financial assistance from the Greenwich Police Department's Scholarship Fund.

This event is general admission, first come first serve seating!There are two different ticket levels for this event.
Regular tickets: This ticket is good for one general admission seat into the 2 hour John Edward event.
VIP tickets: Each VIP ticket includes a 3 month subscription to Evolve Plus (John's new app). Also included in the as a VIP is the opportunity to stay after the event for a conversation, question and answer session with John and the other VIPs. This event lasts a minimum of 20 minutes right after the regular event. In addition to that each person holding a VIP ticket gets to bypass the regular line and join a special VIP line. In addition to the live event, VIPs will be given access to a special virtual event you can participate in from the comfort of your home ($100 value). That’s two events for the price of one!
