Dobbs Ferry: Garden Club Plant Sale
Place: Waterfront Park, 1 High St, Dobbs Ferry, NY
When: Saturday, May 4, 2013, 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Description: Choose from an array of perennials, annuals, herbs and vegetables for sale. The event also includes demonstrations on container planting, annual garden designs and perennial companion mixes. The Club's designers, horticulturists, and environmentalists and CCE Master Gardeners of Westchester will also be available to assist.

Harrison: Art Tour and Workshop at Family First Saturdays

Rye: Volunteer at Jay Heritage Center
Place: Jay Heritage Center, 210 Boston Post Road, Rye NY 10580
When: Saturday, May 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Description: Volunteers needed for invasive plant removal, path maintenance and more from 9am to 1pm. Please bring your own gloves and we will provide tools, T -shirts and refreshments! Long pants encouraged. Great opportunity for Rye newcomers to get involved in civic projects. Ideal for gardeners or high school students looking to contribute community service hours.
