Basketball Tourney Set to Honor Rye Brook's Dawn Denti
A tournament will raise funds for the cancer research LUNGevity Foundation in honor of Rye Brook resident Dawn Denti.
Rye Brook residents will honor Dawn Denti, who died this July of lung cancer, with a three-on-three basketball tournament on Sept. 21. The Rye Brook Board of Trustees approved their request to use the Pine Ridge Park from11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the event.
All money raised will support the LUNGevity Foundation, which funds medical research for the diagnosis, treatment and cure of lung cancer. The Village is not charging for the use of the courts.
