"Leaders of Tomorrow" and the Rye Free Reading Room are planning a celebration of the nation’s 237th birthday on the Fourth of July on Thursday at 10:30am.
The event will feature selected speeches and a reading of the Declaration of Independence. The event takes place on the porch of the Rye Free Reading Room, 1061 Boston Post Rd., and will be followed by patriotic singing and the unfurling of the American Legion’s historic American Flag on the Village Green.
