About Susan

Susan Yubas is a Certified Senior Advisor and the founder of FYI Senior Living Solutions, Inc.  She will help you articulate your goals, identify issues you may not have considered and direct you to appropriate professionals to help you implement what is needed. 

With knowledge of the regulatory and functional requirements of senior housing, she has provided strategic planning and development services to health care providers across a continuum of care.

Susan holds a B.S. in Health Services Administration from Ithaca College, an M.B.A. in Health Services Administration from Baruch College/Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, Certification in Health Care Risk Management from the New York University School of Law, Taxation and Finance, and is a designated Certified Senior Advisor of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. A past President of the Metropolitan Health Administrators (currently Health Leaders of New York), she has served as a member of the Advisory Board for the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance at Ithaca College and currently serves on the Board of Directors of White Plains Hospital Center and Hospice and Palliative Care of Westchester, the Advisory Board for The Club at Briarcliff Manor, a Continuing Care Retirement Community currently under development, and on the President's Council of the Westchester Community College Foundation.  She is a 2007 recipient of Fortunoff’s Women in the Know award and is a member of numerous professional groups, including the National Senior Living Providers Network, Eldercare Professional Network, State Society on Aging of New York, American College of Healthcare Executives, Women Business Leaders of the Health Care Industry Foundation, Women in Health Management, Healthcare Executives Network, Experts on Seniors and the National Association for Healthcare Quality.
