Milton School serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade. In 1898, Union Free School District #2More moved from Milton Road to the school's current location on a hill atop Hewlett Avenue. The new brick building, current gym and auditorium accommodated the growing number of children from the Milton Point community of grades K-9, at the time.</p> <p>Milton School gained a reputation for excellence due to the dedication of Board of Education members and early principals, especially John L. Flores, who served as principal from 1917 to 1952. In 2003, Milton School was awarded a second Blue Ribbon for academic excellence based on the performance of its students in reading and math.</p>

The Rye Arts Center is a community-based center founded to inspire interest and participation in arts in WestchesterMore County. The center, originally housed in an unused barn, has undergone several expansions and currently occupies over 13,000 square feet on Milton Avenue. It maintains a multi-disciplinary program with a wide range of classes in the visual, performing, media and literary arts.
The Ballet Class

The Ballet Class is a dancing school that specilaizes in classical ballet training for children between theMore ages of 5 and 18. Students here have varying levels of experience and ballet instruction including including pointe, variations and partnering. Students here are given an opportunity to perform on stage in a recital at the conclusion of the year where they can demonstrate their accomplishments. the School is located in The Rye Arts Center building.
