Dear Zambano Family: I will always have very fond memories of Gene. I especially remember a backRead More yard cookout at Pate & Ida's house years ago when we cooked blackened redfish in a big cast iron skillet. Every time I saw Gene since then, he reminded me how much he enjoyed the cookout. It was always an enjoyable time whenever we all gathered together. Gene was very friendly and was always positive. I also shared his enthusiasm for running. We will all miss his friendly smile. We share your sadness. Love, Stephen, Donna, Chris & Laura Caplinger

In my opinion, Sam Acerbo was truly a man of "The Greatest Generation." He was a quiet,Read More respectful man who was devoted to his country, his profession, his church and of course, his family. What I always thought was that he was a perfect gentleman at all times. Unfortunately, the new generation has changed in that respect. We will miss Sam at the Senior Center where he was a regular. My sincere sympathy goes out to his son and his family. RIP Sam.

To the family of the deceased I am truly sorry for your lost, It’s never easy to loseRead More someone you love. The pane can sometimes be unbearable at the time, but there is hope! it is human and natural to grieve and we should not feel ashamed to let our grief be manifest. Even when tempered by the hope of the resurrection, the death of a loved one is still a traumatic loss, which is deeply felt. YES resurrection! Jesus performed that unforgettable resurrection in front of many eyewitnesses. It was a token of the future resurrection that he had predicted on an earlier occasion, when he said: “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear [the Son of God’s] voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.”—John 5:28, 29 With this HOPE you can see your loved ones again. When death strikes a loved one, for example, hope can make a world of difference to the survivors. The apostle Paul wrote to the Christians at Thessalonica: “We do not want you to be ignorant concerning those who are sleeping in death; that you may not sorrow just as the rest also do who have no hope.”—1 THESSALONIANS 4:13. You are not dead. As a matter of fact nobody ever dies. You want to know why? Because you're goingRead More to live inside everybody who ever knew you, everyone you ever touched no matter how little. And the people who love you- your mom, your dad, your brothers, sisters, your friends at school- they're never going to stop thinking about you. Or talking about you. They're never going to forget you cause that never goes away. You're never going to die cause you were loved. Because you loved. You're going to live forever. We all will."
