Are these times more or less serious than the past times when such tetrads listed have occurred? MyRead More understanding of the history of the times listed give me no reason to suspect such to be the case. The only distinction is the ability for the news of calamity to spread faster and further than in those past times thus altering the perception of rarity. Growing up in a bible thumping habitat, I was given to understand that astrology is akin to devil worship so I find it ironic that those who would see god's kingdom manifest on earth selectively using astrology in arguing its imminence. If this tetrad is to satisfy the actual written word, there must be 4 Total Eclipses of the Sun turning it black to coincide with the 4 blood moons. This is just another cosmological event common in all solar systems. Wishing for the end of the world is certainly a means to realizing it once critical mass is achieved as well as the means to discontentment born of the twins, Disappointment and Frustration, until then. It's your future though so have at it but expect to reap what you sow.

Not sure why you bring up astrology. Did you mean astronomy? You understand correctly that astrologyRead More is of darkness...the fallen angel Kokabel taught man astrology. God tells us to look for signs in the sun, stars and moon. Not the planets. The Bible is very specific about that. A person of faith who very closely follows world events is able to connect the dots and see plain as day the unique times we are in. The end times described in the scripture, being the begining of satan's new age. To a person of little or no faith, this stuff means nothing but hogwash. To a Jew of faith, it's enourmous because it involves Israel. So as world war errupts this year or next, tell us all about how it's no big deal because world war has happened twice and it was no big deal.

Astrology makes predictions of future events based on cosmological alignments of both planets andRead More the Sun and Moon in relation to constellations of stars. So what exactly is the difference if not the predictions and labels used? While the ancient writers of scripture surely associated celestial events with real world events by sensing a pattern, without knowing that the pattern is repeated throughout the universe, they could not know that it couldn't be personal. That the eclipse happened while the skies were overcast suggests that if it were a sign, few were able to see it. The logical question is to ask why God wouldn't have ensured there were clear skies so that the sign could be seen. Simply put, if it were in fact a sign, hiding it is counter productive. The significance of the world wars depends on from where and when you look at them. Significant to those who lived it to be sure but to those who came afterwards, perhaps less so. While tragic to those who suffered the effects of the times, the losses were replaced within 3 generations and the memory of those who experienced the times are fading as time moves on. Besides, if another world war is to happen, it, like everything else, must be by design of anything is. I do believe that everything happens because it is supposed to or nothing can, I just don't think it all happens for us as some seem to. My ego is healthy but to assume the entire universe was made for man alone is beyond my hubris.

The more unresponsive the dog is, the funnier that monologue of Launce’s is. During my dramaRead More training, a Royal Shakespeare Company actor performed it in our class, substituting a rolled up coat for Crab. Absolutely brilliant!

Now this is death throes ... a clip job of a few sentences from a New York Times review and a fewRead More from the Patch's review back from when it was staffed. Pathetic.

Craig: We've been aggregating articles from other publications from the outset. Plus, we know that aRead More review by the NYT is, in foodie circles, a big deal. And we know our neighbors will cross community lines to try new places. (I am reminded of Yogi Berra: “Nobody goes there anymore. It’s too crowded.”)

The Stamford Advocate actually beat me to it:Read More http://blog.ctnews.com/lunchbreak/2014/02/07/stamford-wine-bar-cotto-earns-very-good-from-ny-times/ This is pretty common on the Internet, Craig. The proper way to do it is to add some additional information, which both the Advocate and we did.

Can anyone tell me exactly what this "Propact LLC" company that Patricia Scofield worksRead More for does? I tried Google-ing it. Comes up under a whole lot of marketing directories with profiles that have no information other than their location and phone number. No web site. Ahhhhhh...details details details.

This just keeps getting more interesting. I tried calling the phone number listed in all theseRead More online directories for "Propact LLC" supposedly located at 106 North Broadway in Irvington (just up the road from 381 N. Broadway, which is the street address for Kykuit - a Rockefeller property, now open to public and quite a lovely place to visit) and guess who's voice mail I went directly into when I dialed 914-241-9403? Nelson Rockefeller Jr's voice mail, that's who. Nothing about Propact, or a switchboard, or anything like that. Directly into "Nelson Rockefeller is not available at the moment". So, we know this group already has their George Pataki political appointees (Rob Balanchandran and now Laura Blackman), but apparently SPI has also quietly (and without any crass name dropping) gotten the ROCKEFELLERS involved in this mess? What in Sam Hill is going on here? Grass roots citizens organization my patootie.

Oh, LOOK! I finally found some info on "Propact LLC" and what they do. I can't make headsRead More or tails of the "corporate-ese" jargon, so I read it three times and still could not tell you what they DO, but here it is. Under, guess what? NELSON ROCKEFELLER JR'S LINKED IN PROFILE!--------------copy and paste this link into your browser and then explain to me all about how SPI is an "aw shucks" group of concerned local citizens who formed a grass roots committee of altruistic volunteers to form an underfunded non-profit in an attempt to save the beloved park from real estate developers.-------------http://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=8342700&authType=NAME_SEARCH&authToken=ZNbz&locale=en_US&srchid=258898261390831410839&srchindex=1&srchtotal=3&trk=vsrp_people_res_name&trkInfo=VSRPsearchId%3A258898261390831410839%2CVSRPtarg

Uhhhhh...thanks Smelly...I *think*. (I'd feel better about the vote of confidence in my sanity ifRead More it didn't include a jab at Mr. Schubert...).

Honestly, I've never seen a year in my life where so many people (most of them people I don't evenRead More know at that!) have tried to bully me so egregiously in an effort to shut me up. I greatly prefer to lead a low-key, anonymous life, staying out of things and letting everyone else argue and sort it all out while I sit in the grass and watch bunnies and look for rainbows. I couldn't do that this time. It's a pretty sad statement on SPI that the only way they can fight back at me is not with facts or accurate info (*any* info, really) but by lashing out in the ridiculous ways that they have with their supporters (lackeys) trying to personally discredit me rather than highlighting the specifics and merits of the plan. I've been saying it for a while now, SPI doesn't want public discussion of their plan and they don't want anyone asking any questions, because they know if they allow that, it's going to fall flat on its face. I'm just glad to have raised public awareness and kick-started a very badly needed open public discussion about this whole thing. It was kept quiet and sailing under the radar with no scrutiny for far too long. SO, Merry Christmas to all, I'm taking a break from this for the rest of the week and focusing on the positive!
