Whitby Castle at Rye Golf Club

Built in 1852, Whitby Castle overlooks the Long Island Sound and the 18th fairway of the Rye Golf Club. This real Tudor castle is open to the public for à la carte dining and serves as the clubhouse for the Rye Golf Club. The castle's interior contains beautifully decorated dining areas, reception rooms, a bridal suite, a well appointed bar and elegant ballrooms. Its restaurant serves eclectic American cuisine like steaks, grilled entrees and seafood.
