Blind Brook Board of Education Meeting

There will be a public meeting of the Board of Education on Monday, August 26th at 7:00 p.m. in the Monroe E. Haas Instructional Media Center at the Blind Brook Middle School/High School building. The agenda for this meeting is here.

Port Chester Board of Education Meeting

The Port Chester Board of Education Meeting will be held on Thursday, Aug. 29 at 7:00 p.m. in Port Chester High School Room #229. 

Public Hearing on Rye House in Port Chester

At the Port Chester Planning Commission Meeting on Aug. 26 at 7 pm., there will be a public hearing to review an application submitted by Rye House-Port Chester, Michiel Boender, AIA on property located at 126 North Main Street to consider their requst to improve and renovate the existing building (interior and exterior) to accommodate a new restaurant – Rye House Port Chester.

Interested parties will be afforded the opportunity to speak. The meeting will be held at the Court Room at 350 North Main Street, Port Chester.

Rye Golf Club Meet the Candidates Forum

The RGC will hold a “meet the candidates” forum on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. at Whitby Castle.  RGC members will have the opportunity to meet the candidates running for RGC commission this fall.

Registration starts Sept. 12 but pre-registration is open for programs offered Sept. 3-6, and for girls field hockey.

Rye Town Board and Park Commission Meeting

The Rye Town Park Commission meeting will be held next Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 6 p.m. and the Town Board meeting will be on Aug. 27 at 7:30 p.m., a half hour later than they normally begin.
