What's going on this week in and around Rye:

 “Residency For A Reason” Charlie Scopoletti at Garcia’s @ The Capitol Theatre. Doors open at 6pm and show starts at  8pm. Must be 21 and over, tickets are $8. Tuesday nights at Garcia’s @ The Capitol will support a different charity each week by donating proceeds from ticket sales.

On Wednesday, January 15th Rising Stars: A Student Show is going on at the Clay Arts Center in Port Chester, NY, The annual Rising Stars exhibit gives students – adults and children - the opportunity to exhibit their work in a professional gallery setting, to invite their families and friends, and share the fruits of their time spent at Clay Art Center.


On Thursday, January 16, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy 2013 marks the 20th Anniversary of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy's remarkable arrival onto the music scene.  Tarrytown Music Hall.


Thursday, January 16 Empire City Casino in Yonkers has an James Brown Tribute Band at 8pm and again at 10pm. You can feel good with James Brown
