Blind Brook Board of Education

There will be a public meeting of the Board of Education on Monday, November 4that 7:30 p.m. in the High School Faculty room.  It is expected that the Board will vote to go into executive session to discuss Matters Relating to Public Safety & Security and Contract with Madison Square Garden and will return to public session in the Monroe E. Haas Instructional Media Center at 8:00 p.m.

Port Chester Village Board Meeting

The board will meet at 7:00 p.m. at Port Chester Village Court. The board is expected to pass a local law extending the amnesty program at this meeting.

Hudson Valley Restaurant Week Kicks Off

The popular annual HV Restaurant Week, which is actually two weeks and runs until Nov. 17, begins today. Click here to find a list of participating restaurants. Diners will have the opportunity to sample dishes featuring farm-to-table, sustainable products at more than 100 restaurants in Westchester. Three-course, prix fixe dinners are $29.95 and lunches are $20.95 (plus beverage, tax and tip).

 

Blind Brook Community Coalition

The Blind Brook Community Coalition is having a meeting on Nov. 7 at 8 a.m. in the Blind Brook Middle School Cafeteria. Read more on the group here.

 Rye City Council Meeting

The meeting will be on Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. and will include a presentation of the 2014 budget.

The City Council will hold Budget Workshops on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, Monday, November 18, 2013 and Wednesday, November 20, 2012 beginning at 8:00 p.m.

At the Cap: The B-52s

The group best known for "Love Shack" will play the Cap on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $35 to $70.
