Edison Students Enjoy Monthly Pasta Dinner

Every third Tuesday of the month, a group of about 140 Edison school students enjoy a pasta dinner served by the Port Chester Rye Brook Rotary Club and other volunteers.

“It is amazing. The kids are so excited and it is a way of us all coming together as a community for a meal,” said Maria Flores, Edison School Community Coordinator.

The food is provided by local restaurants or food distributors like Costco, that either donate it or sell it at cost to the program. Frankie and Luigi’s provides the food for the pasta dinners at a significant discount.

At recent dinners, Rye High School students have been coming by to help serve the dinner.
