It's Flag Day! Display and Retire Old Glory Properly
Don't forget to proudly display the American flag and treat it with respect at all times.
Flag Day is a great opportunity to make your patriotism known. If you have an American flag that has given years of faithful service and now looks a bit frayed or worn, make sure you retire it respectfully.
In conjuction with its annual Memorial Day Program, American Legion Rye Post 128 has installed a specially painted depository- also retired from another life in government service as a postal box- in Rye City Hall.
